Reuben and Gordon are Registered Valuers with over 50 years combined experience valuing in the Northland market. Their experience is diverse, and it ranges from valuing coastal properties on the east coast, to lifestyle properties around the district and flats/houses in central Whangarei and surrounding suburbs.

We conduct valuations for a range of purposes including mortgage security, sale, or purchase purposes. We are on the Valocity and Corelogic list of approved panel valuers.

REUBEN ARCHER

Property InDepth’s franchisee Reuben Archer knows Northland like the back of his hand. We doubt there’s a road anywhere “up north” that he hasn’t driven on. Having spent much of his life in Whangarei, Reuben now lives on a lifestyle property at Maungatapere. He specialises in valuing residential and lifestyle properties throughout the Whangarei and Kaipara Districts and has been working as a valuer since 1999.

Reuben initially studied horticulture at Lincoln University before attending Massey University where he studied Rural Valuation and Farm Management. While at Massey he also completed a diploma in Urban Valuation.

In 2009, he joined Property InDepth and these days he owns and manages the Northland franchise – covering Whangarei, Kaipara and the Far North areas.

“I enjoy the variety of properties that we get to see in our job, and I also enjoy working with our clients to provide them with good advice so they can make informed property decisions. Property InDepth provides me with great technology to help provide accurate advice to our clients, whether they are local or based overseas, and I enjoy being part of the experienced team of valuers providing a network across much of the country.”

In his spare time Reuben enjoys playing golf, taking the dogs to the beach and developing his lifestyle property.

 

GORDON HANLON

Registered Valuer

Gordon commenced his valuation career in 1971 and became a registered valuer in 1976. He has been valuing in the Whangarei area for the last 25 years and has excellent local knowledge.

Gordon and his wife Sue operate as a team, with complimentary skills they ensure valuations are delivered in an efficient manner. They live on the Tutukaka Coast and enjoy the coastal lifestyle, with a strong interest in fishing and cycling on the weekends.

Gordon specialises in residential and lifestyle valuations in the Whangarei and Kaipara areas.
