Ross McFarlane

Experienced local valuer Ross McFarlane been valuing property in Hamilton and the greater Waikato area for over 20 years. Ross was born in Hamilton and apart from a short hiatus overseas, he has always lived in the Waikato. He has a Bachelor of Business Studies majoring in Valuation from Massey University.

“Valuation is a great profession to be part of. The property market is ever-changing, the local market has a wide variety of property and price brackets, and clients have various needs. Being a valuer brings daily variety, rewards, and challenges. Property InDepth’s use of technology enables us to produce detailed reports very quickly.”

Outside of work Ross enjoys coaching and encouraging his boys in their sporting endeavors. When time permits, he enjoys traveling and holidays with family and friends and can be found on the golf course or the ski slope.

ryan thomson

Waikato property valuer Ryan Thomson grew up and undertook his schooling in Hamilton. Ryan then shifted to Auckland and completed a Bachelor of Business Studies majoring in Valuation and Property Management from Massey University in Albany. He gained registration status in 2019 and has since completed valuations on a range of residential and lifestyle properties throughout the wider Waikato/Auckland areas. Ryan has also done various stints overseas throughout Europe and Asia.

“I enjoy the daily challenges involved with valuing a range of different property types and the ability to work both indoors and outdoors.”

Ryan’s interests outside of work include running, camping in his roof top tent and time spent on the golf course.
